Gliding in a morning hot air balloon ride over the Maasai Mara is one of the best ways to see this beautiful landscape. Below you herds of animals roam the vast plains. You can see for miles, and gliding over the Mara as the sun rises and paints the land below you a rainbow of colors is breathtaking. Waking up, and driving an hour, while it’s still dark is totally worth it. You don’t even realize you’ve left the ground. Hot air balloons are surprisingly gentle. Not like being in a plane or helicopter. You gently float along, and the heat from the burners, casts unexpected warmth over you.
