#SaveTheHuntridge is a well known hashtag in the Vegas parts. The Huntridge is an old concert venue who has had quite a past, but is also such a iconic building, the Vegas community refuses to let it go. In fact, people are fighting tooth and nail to rebuild it and bring it back to it’s original glory.
So a couple weeks ago, people from all over the greater Las Vegas area came out to help give the old girl a fresh coat of paint and make her less of an eyesore for the neighbourhood. Young and old came together to help out, along with vendors, food trucks, and the Painter’s Union apprentices. It was an awesome weekend!

About Dani Blanchette
I am a freelance travel and music photographer and creator of GoingNomadic.com.
I love music, food, and exploring cities without guidebooks. I’ve flown a helicopter, hitchhiked down the east coast USA, and once snuck into the back of a zoo (in Serbia) and pet a lion.
I am always up for an adventure, and sometimes I videotape them.
