Today’s #Indie30 question asks:
What are you passionate about besides travel?
WELL…
I love dancing. Whenever possible. Ask anyone. I will bust out the running man at any opportune moment.
I also dance 4 nights a week at the Las Vegas Burlesque Studios (doing everything from strutting to bellydance to crazy acro stuff).
I also love sushi. And Chilean empanadas. And baklava. And feijoida. And… are you getting a theme here yet? I love food. All sorts of food. I like to eat it, then go home a try to make it, sometimes mixing different ethnic dishes together. (Although, I haven’t figured out how to make Spanakopita Spring Rolls yet, without the lemon juice exploding the spring roll wrappers, when frying.)
I love photography…obviously. Photography is definitely a passion of mine, but what kind of photography is my favourite? I love travel photography. I really love music photography. But I do have a secret photography passion – CLASSIC CARS.
I love photographing classic cars, and have gotten so sidetracked photographing a random car in the Walmart parking lot, that I totally forgot why I was at Walmart in the first place, and just turned around and went home.
(PS: It was for license plate screws, which I remembered, the next day, when the cops pulled me over for not having my license plate on my car).
I also get crazy excited about random stuff like feathers, ugly clothes at the thrift store, 80’s and early 90’s hiphop music, anything I can dance to like an idiot, Sharknado (and any awesomely bad movie in general), and reading (especially non-fiction and memoirs). I am also passionate about zombies and one of my life dreams is to be a zombie in a full length feature zombie film.
Basically I’m passionate about life, but I don’t find that a bad thing. I think being openly passionate is contagious and I like making other’s smile!
