I got a GoPro camera a few days before my return to Colombia. I wanted a camera I can bring in the water, bring around places I shouldn’t be walking with my DSLR, and for any other events where a small camera will come in handy.
So how do I feel about it?
IT’S GREAT!
It’s waterproof housing works amazingly. I’ve been in the water a few times with it for extended periods with no problem. I can walk around freely with it because it looks like a cheap camera, so it gets less notice when I’m in more theft prone areas. (Little do thieves know I’m shooting high quality HD). I can even bring it paragliding with me when I go (which will be soon. Stay tuned.)
But one of the greatest most hilarious unexpected things I’ve discovered about this camera, is the hysterical embarrassing hysterically-embarrassing photos it creates when droplets sticking to the waterproof housing meet the GoPro’s super-uber wide angle lens.
So, without further ado, here is a bunch of distorted GoPro portraits to make you smile.
Hope you got your laugh on!
CHEERS!
